Dr. Anyela Duque-Suarez , D.O

Pediatrics

Dr. Anyela Duque-Suarez (Dr. Angie) is the daughter of first-generation immigrants and a NY Queens native. She takes great pride and honor in serving the community. She recognizes the struggles and hardships of working families.


Dr. Duque-Suarez obtained her undergraduate degree from St. John’s University in Psychology with a minor in Sociology. She earned her Master of Science in 2016 and Medical Degree in 2017 from Touro College of Osteopathic Medicine in New York City. She completed her three-year Pediatric Residency Program at RWJ Barnabas Health-Children’s Hospital of New Jersey. 


Dr. Duque-Suarez is a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) who has successfully completed the certification process through The American Board of Pediatrics (ABP). She is also  a certified Pediatric Advanced Life Support and Advanced Trauma Life Support provider. She has participated in research with interests in health literacy and education, asthma, and improving resident training.  She is also bilingual in Spanish. Dr. Duque-Suarez is appointed with Catholic Health - Mercy Hospital, and is in process for appointment with both NYU Langone and Northwell Health.


Dr. Duque-Suarez is passionate about the overall health of children and the family unit as a whole. She has a special interest in development and nutrition. She strongly believes in the importance of preventative care and anticipatory guidance in helping parents keep their children healthy. 


In her spare time, she enjoys creating memories with her husband and two children, practicing yoga, and exploring the outdoors.
