If you're experiencing issues with the patient portal, you're in the right place! We've compiled answers to the most frequently asked questions to help you quickly troubleshoot common problems—all without needing to call the office!

First-Time Patient Portal User?
Whether you’re the proud family of a newborn or transferring to our office as your child’s new pediatric home, the steps to set up your patient portal account are the same!
In the days leading up to your first appointment, you’ll receive an email at the primary email address listed on your registration forms with a link to create your account. You’ll also receive a text message with a unique, account-specific PIN—this is required to activate your portal. Once activated, you’ll be able to choose your own password for future access.
Important: Please complete this setup as soon as possible. The PIN is time-sensitive and will expire if not used promptly. Activating your portal early ensures a smooth first visit and easy access to your child’s health information!
Can't Access your Child's Patient Portal Account?
No worries—getting back into your child’s portal is as easy as 1-2-3!
Follow these quick steps to reset your password and regain access:
Go to the Patient Portal login page and enter the primary email address you originally used for portal access.
Click on “Forgot Password” and answer the security question:
- Question: What is your dream job?
- Answer: Doctor (with a capital D)
Once you've entered the correct answer, you’ll be able to reset your password and jump right back into your child's account!

- Send Non-Urgent Medical Questions
Skip the phone call! Send secure messages to our medical team directly through the portal and receive quick, reliable answers without waiting on hold.
- Complete Developmental Screenings from Home
Your child’s growth and development is our top priority. That’s why we send important developmental screenings to your portal a few days before the appointment. Complete them at home and save time during your visit!
- Your Child’s Health Info—Right in Your Hands
With the portal, your child’s entire medical record is conveniently available in the palm of your hand.
Is It Possible for Both Parents to Have Access to their Child's Patient Portal Account?
Yes — Absolutely!
We understand that both parents often want access to their child's health information. Just give our office a call, and we’ll gladly set up the portal so that both parents can log in using their individual email addresses!
It’s a simple setup, and you’ll both have full access to your child’s medical records, messages, and more—anytime, anywhere!
Unable to See Your Other Child's Patient Portal Account?
If you can’t view all your children under one portal login, don’t worry—it’s usually a simple fix!
The most important step is making sure both children are linked to the same email address. If each child is registered with a different email, their accounts will not be merged in the portal.
- If you're already using the same email and still can’t see both accounts, just send our office a text message! We’ll double-check that the parent email is listed the same for each child and relink the accounts as needed.
Prefer to keep your children’s portal accounts separate? No problem—just give our office a call, and we’ll be happy to troubleshoot and assist based on your preference!
