Our Commitment to Keeping Kids Healthy & Protected! At Long Island Pediatrics, we believe that vaccinations are essential for keeping your child—and our entire community—safe and healthy. Immunizations help protect against serious illnesses, ensuring that children can grow, play, and thrive without unnecessary health risks. We strongly recommend following the standard immunization schedule set by the Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices (ACIP). However, we also understand that some parents may have concerns and wish to tailor their child’s vaccine schedule. While we respect your role in making healthcare decisions for your child, our ultimate goal is to ensure all children are fully immunized for their well-being. Personalized Vaccine Schedules If you choose to customize your child’s vaccination schedule, additional visits with a physician will be necessary to ensure proper supervision and completion of all required immunizations. Please note that: ✔ Additional visits will be required to accommodate a modified schedule ✔ Co-pays, co-insurance, and deductibles will apply for these extra visits ✔ Payment will be expected at the time of service Our Vaccination Policy Families who were already part of Long Island Pediatrics before October 1, 2017, may continue with their existing vaccine plan. However, as of that date, we are no longer accepting new patients who choose not to vaccinate their children. We appreciate your trust in us to provide the best medical care for your child. If you have any questions about our immunization policy, our team is happy to discuss your concerns and find the best path forward for your child’s health! Together, we can help keep our children and community strong, happy, and healthy! 💙
